What is that old guy doing here?

While I realize I may be at the higher end of the age scale, I can but hope there are some younger ladies who are not intimidated. As why I am here, my social life is a trifle limited. I find I am the caretaker for my wife of many years who seems have dementia as well as macular degeneration. While I gladly accept the responsibility, outside stimulation is somewhat lacking. I enjoy interacting with ladies of wit and refinement. Educational level is irrelevant as is age. I must admit my taste runs toward those of modest physique but I enjoy intelligent conversation with any who can accept that hypermaturity is not a bar to pleasurable interaction.

 You'd have better success if you could post at least one pic. A lot of people like myself don't respond or reach out to shadows. What's there to catch somebody's eye? Nothing.

 I thank all who have responded to this post as well as those who might do so in the future. My reason for posting was not a paucity of lovely and intelligent young ladies nor was it a request for sympathy. I simply wished to avoid having to explain the same thing every time I have a conversation. Pictures are available upon request. I chose not to do the friend thing because I have been hacked quite often and have no wish to complicate the lives of any other members.

 The other shoe has dropped and I am now home alone with my pup. My children decided that being a caretaker was rather stressful and moved my wife to a more appropriate facility. I will admit that after many years, it is interesting to live alone but I have plenty of time to chat with new people. Don't be shy...
